A host of tropical waterlilies, hardy waterlilies, lotuses, and giant water-platters grow in several large lily ponds that lie in a secluded courtyard behind the Conservatory of Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennysylvania. Today, Longwood Gardens complements its horticultural displays with more than 400 musical and theatre performances, and other events, per year.
