Named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997 and located southeast of Tunis, the Roman ruins of Dougga are renowned as the largest and most beautiful Roman site in all of Tunisia. This photo is of the THEATRE, originally built in 168 AD, and still used in the summer for performances.
