Adjacent to the Arlington National Cemetery lies the Netherlands Carillon, a gift to the people of the United States from the Dutch for their aid during and after World War II. Two bronze lions designed by the Dutch sculptor, Paul Koning, guard the Carillon's plaza steps. Depicted here is the view of the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, and U.S. Capitol building from the Carillon plaza.
