A health official at the Bukavu Barracks public clinic in Kano Nigeria stands next to a Waterguard advertisement.  Waterguard is a chlorine-based product that makes water safe to drink.  It is distributed through social marketing by the Society for Family Health (SFH), the largest indigenous NGO in Nigeria.  SFH partners with the US-based international NGO, Population Services Intrenational.  This clinic also dispenses SFH injectable contraceptives oral contraceptives condoms and long lasting insecticide treated mosquito nets.
